CWG 2022: 4th medal in boxing confirmed, Amit Panghal made it to the semi-finals

Boxer Amit Panghal has reached the semi-finals of the 2022 Commonwealth Video games in Birmingham on Thursday. Amit defeated Scotland’s Lennon Mulligan 5-0 within the males’s flyweight quarterfinals to safe India’s fourth medal in boxing. Within the males’s flyweight semi-final, Indian boxer Amit Panghal will face Zambia’s Patrick Chinyamba, who defeated Australian Alex Winwood through knockout in his quarterfinals. Commonwealth Video games 2022: PV Sindhu reached the pre-quarterfinals of ladies’s singles. Earlier, Nikhat Zareen (girls’s gentle flyweight), Mohammad Husamuddin (males’s featherweight) and Neetu Ghangas have additionally reached the semi-finals. Amit received a silver medal within the gentle flyweight class on the 2018 Commonwealth Video games in Gold Coast, Australia.
